NEW: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consultancy group

The Emerging Minds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social and Emotional Wellbeing National Consultancy Group is made up of practitioners and advisors from a range of sectors.

The group’s role is to support and guide Emerging Minds in building an evidence base to support effective work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. This includes informing and advising on content development and practice materials to be used when engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.

The members of the group are Felix Kerry (Chair), Dana Shen, Eric Milera, Carol Michie, Nancy Jeffrey, Bill Wilson, Rosie Schellen, Kathy Rigney, Major Sumner and Brian Butler.

The preferred terminology used by Emerging Minds in our resources is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, as guided by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social and Emotional Wellbeing National Consultancy Group.
