Reflections on culturally competent practice with Nellie Anderson

How do you work in a respectful and useful way with people whose cultural background is different to your own? In this episode, Chris Dolman interviews Nellie Anderson from the Survivors of Torture and Trauma Assistance and Rehabilitation Service (STTARS) in South Australia. Nellie has worked extensively with children and adults from a refugee background who have experienced torture and trauma prior to their arrival to Australia.
