Our practice strategies series for working with infants, toddlers and families is designed for practitioners who draw on case formulation processes to inform their practice. We recommend completing the following courses in this order:
- Keeping the infant and toddler in mind provides foundational knowledge about infants and toddlers’ development to enhance your engagement with children and parents.
- Practice strategies for infant and toddler assessment will develop your confidence in applying five base relational assessment strategies.
- Practice strategies for formulation: Infants and toddlers will equip you with skills to centre children’s relational and developmental needs in your existing case formulation practices.
- Practice strategies for implementation: Infants and toddlers will enable you to explore ways of working to uncover strengths and collaborate with families to implement changes which are responsive to each child and family’s unique needs.
